Wicked Good Blog Hop!

Spooky Greetings to you! Welcome to The Angel Company's (TAC) Halloween Blog Hop.
When I saw TAC's "Spiders Are Seen" set, I knew I had to have it. What's more scarier than a headless witch, right? You can tell by her snazzy stockings that this is no ordinary witch though. She has style and knows how to "bling" it up with her glittery petticoat, don't you think? But first, I'll show you how I created her skirt.
To create the skirt, I took a square piece of black cardstock and cut inward to form a waist. I made a "bleach" pad (using paper towels soaked with household bleach) and stamped the background stamp on the black cardstock. Then I cut slits on the bottom of the skirt to create the "witchy ruffles"!
To take the focus away from her missing upper body and head, this little witch made sure yours eyes were drawn to her shiny petticoat (Crystal Stickles--my ultimate favorite and hers too). How can you NOT be mesmerized by it? It's what all witches covet that's for sure!
Even her spider friends are rockin' with crystal lacquer bodies! Can it get any spookier than that?
To create the spooky background, I used a black pad and an orange pad (no, not at the same time silly) and dragged them across my cardstock, concentrating mostly on the edges. And, of course, I had to distress the edges because, after all, it's spookier that way.
The specTACular witchy belt is made with two colors of scrappers' floss, wrapped around her tiny witchy waist! And, of course, the words say it all--Eat, drink, and be SCARY!
I hope you're not too scared out of your wits to continue on this blog hop.
Batty Bye for now!
