I was in a gift store in Victoria, BC, and kept seeing this little stacked rock human form. I saw it in ceramics, in wood, on paper, stickers, it was everywhere!
So I asked the lady behind the counter, "What is this?"
"It's an Inukshuk," she said, "the official emblem for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics."
WOW!!!! I had to buy my very own little Inukshuk and some Inukshuk Blueberry Icewine Tea.
And talking about icewine. Have you ever had some?
On our last roadtrip, we went to Niagara Falls, trekked on over to Canada and had our first taste of icewine.
It's a wine produced from grapes that have been frozen while still on the vine. It's picked at the coldest moment of a winter's night (by highly paid grape pickers!)! Each frozen grape produces just one drop of icewine!!!!
We bought a bunch of SMALL bottles of icewine so we can ration about one bottle per month for about a year, which begs the question--what are we gonna do when we are all out of our stash of icewine?
Hmmmmmm, maybe another roadtrip to Canada, eh???!!!!

Yummy! I LOVE eiswein (pronounced ice-vine), it's so sweet and slightly thick. You can find it in wine stores, but you do have to look carefully for it.
