Kewl day trip to Enchanted Rock. Friends Marie and Rhodeen went with us. It was a nice drive to Fredericksburg on the way to the Rock. Enchanted Rock is a pink granite dome that rises 425 feet above the surrounding countryside.It is one of the largest batholiths, or exposed underground rock formations, in the United States.
There are two trails up to the top--one that is 4 miles and one that is .5 miles.
Guess which one we did?????
