Barstow, CA

Have you ever visited Barstow, CA? It's a really interesting little town. There's not THAT much there but I love going there. This is my second time there with the Zipster. Both times, we HAD to stop and eat at the McDonald's there. Why, you are wondering?

Two reasons--the McDonald's is in a train's passenger car and I love Happy Meals.

Dr. Seuss

As a kid, I never read Dr. Seuss. Yea, I'm giving away my age, huh?

But Dr. Seuss was my most favorite place while at Islands of Adventure! I just loved all the colors and the cute-ums creatures. I also loved the rides--no fast rollercoasters that go upside down. And I have NO idea what "Thing 1 and Thing 2" are all about but it was so funny to see a whole family and each person had a different number!

When IHOP had green eggs and ham, I ordered it (it was gud). IHOP also had a very tall stack of pancakes with a lollipop on top--I ordered that too. That was a really fun breakfast.

Even though I didn't read Dr. Seuss when I was kid, I can enjoy it now! And that makes me happy!
